The Collected Self is a staging and design company that specializes in using curated items to stage your home for living or selling. Owner and Lead Designer, Emily Johnson, blends her passion for collecting and organizing with her design skills to transform each client’s home. She uses paint, furniture, décor, and more to create a home that is ready to intrigue buyers in today’s competitive market or reinvigorate the homeowner.

 

Emily interviews each client to understand their budget and space preferences on look, feel, and function. Her expertise in interviewing, media, and culture stems from her Ph.D. in Public Communication and Technology from Colorado State University and informs her staging and design work.

 

Emily earned her Master Staging certification through the Staging Studio, which is accredited through the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA). She remains up to date on trends through continued education in design and home staging.
